Social engagement. Gary Vaynerchuk Jab Jab Right Hook summed up the purpose of social media best. It’s not about selling, it’s about content. Okay, it’s a little about selling, but doing it in a way that doesn’t come across too advertease-like and offers content or a chance for people to be heard. When working for the Simmer Group this is the path we take with managing their restaurant clients social sites. Delivering food porn and delicious engaging, comment-provoking language with a pinch of soft sell. Tall order, but fun and expanded my work to include financial companies. FYI…I also joined the green rush and started my own cannabis instagram influencer feed (@cannabiswonder) that I write and design each post.
